Parking Information
Parking is available in our designated guest parking lot off Henry Thomas Drive to the northeast of the Museum campus. Please DO NOT park directly on Henry Thomas Drive.
Visitors may also park alongside Roosevelt Mall and enter by way of the foot bridge over Little Lake or enjoy a short stroll to LCM from nearby lots on Henry Thomas Drive and Friedrichs Avenue.
Please be safe while you are in City Park. Remember to lock your car and don't leave any valuables in plain sight.
All parking in City Park is FREE.
Public Transportation
Streetcar
The Canal-City Park streetcar line stops at the intersection of Wisner Blvd. and Esplanade Ave.
Bus
RTA bus routes with stops near LCM include #27-Louisiana, #60-Hayne, #90-Carrollton, and #91-Jackson-Esplanade
Biking
If you’re pedaling your way to the museum, you’ll find our bike racks near the Museum along Henry Thomas Drive, Friedrichs Avenue or Roosevelt Mall.
City Park also rents bikes from its Boat House on the Big Lake for an hourly charge.
