2010 CHAIRish the Children

"New Orleans Proud To Call It Home"

Saturday, August 28th

Thanks to the tireless work of 40 dedicated CHAIRish committee members and two co-chairs, CHAIRish 2010’s theme will pay homage to the Louisiana Children’s Museum’s most unique and indigenous exhibit, the New Orleans Proud to Call it Home Architecture Exhibit.

Gourmet food and beverages will be provided by more than 20 of the Crescent City’s finest eateries.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Thelonious Monk Institute Ensemble.

More than a dozen signature, whimsical chairs created by both established and young, aspiring artists will be available for the bidding throughout this magical evening.

Particularly sought after CHAIRish auction offerings range from:

  • A Saints jersey signed by wide receiver Marques Colston
  • An iconic architectural French Quarter style post light from Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights
  • Numerous elegant jewelry pieces including Hourani Pearl creations
  • Exclusive getaways to places near and far

CHAIRish tickets, including Patron Party tickets, can be purchased here!
