Classroom lessons come to life as children explore and experience more than 100 hands-on exhibits, art activities and educational programs unique to the Louisiana Children's Museum. Explore the anatomy and function of the amazing eye in Eye to Eye. Shop in the Little Sav-A-Center grocery store. Dine in the five-star and role-play Kids' Café. Or create an original work of art with daily art encounters in Art Trek. Experience what it might be like to pilot a towboat and navigate a barge on the Mighty Mississippi in the Little Port of New Orleans exhibit. Climb the Rock Wall or ride a bike with Mr. Bones. Get charged-up with the Plasma Ball. Learn what it takes to make healthy lifestyle choices in Team Turtle Training Camp. Or visit the Cajun Cottage and discover a little Louisiana and Cajun history. A group rate of $3.50 per person is extended to organized groups (schools, churches, camps, home school groups) of 15 or more Tuesday through Friday.
