Field Trips/Group Visits

Explore! Experience! Learn!

At the Louisiana Children's Museum, learning is FUN! Classroom lessons come to life as children explore and experience more than 100 hands-on exhibits, art activities and educational programs unique to the Louisiana Children's Museum.

Explore the anatomy and function of the amazing eye in Eye to Eye. Shop in the Little Winn Dixie grocery store. Dine in the five-star and role-play Kids' Café. Or create an original work of art with daily art encounters in Art Trek.

Experience what it might be like to pilot a towboat and navigate a barge on the Mighty Mississippi in the Little Port of New Orleans exhibit.  Climb the Rock Wall or ride a bike with Mr. Bones. Get charged-up with the Plasma Ball. Or visit the Cajun Cottage and New Orleans "Proud to Call It Home" Exhibit to discover a little of Louisiana's history.
