Children are invited to create reflection
journals providing an opportunity for self
reflection and dialogue around our museum
galleries and thought topics related
to the vision and work of Dr. Martin
Guest Readers (Jan. 18 & Jan. 19)
LCM welcomes guest readers throughout
the day in our Talk + Play Center.
Readers will share the book, “Martin’s
Big Words” and facilitate discussion
around empathy, community and equality.
Peace Yoga & Labyrinth Walk (Jan. 18 &
Jan. 19, 1pm)
Practice mindfulness with your child.
Engage in self reflection and relaxation
with Peace Yoga and a guided Labyrinth
Walk honoring the legacy and teachings
of Dr. King.
